Each primary menu item (A) requires one or more submenus (B), which appear as a drop-down when you hover over the main item. If a drop-down is not needed and the primary menu links to a single page, the first submenu item you create should match the primary menu item.
Adding a Primary Menu Item
In the Admin Area navigate to CMS > Menus then click the Add Menu button
Menu Title - this is the main title of the menu that gets displayed across the whole site
Sort Order - a numerical value to order each menu within the navigation bar. Lowest number gets shown first.
Menu Location - select the position on the website where this menu should be displayed
Is this a menu item visible? - enable this to show on the website.
Only visible when logged in? - enable this to show on the website to logged in users
To finalise everything, click the Add Menu button
Editing a Primary Menu Item
To Edit a menu item, in the Admin Area navigate to CMS > Menus then click the Edit button next to the entry you'd like to change.
Adding a Sub Menu
If this menu is required as a single link, give the same title (reason for this is that the primary menu title above will be used)
Menu Title - this is the main title of the sub menu item that gets displayed across the whole site
Sort Order - a numerical value to order each sub menu item. Lowest number gets shown first.
Parent Menu - select the position on the website where this menu should be displayed
Internal Page - select to an internal page by selecting one here. The URL field below is then ignored.
OR URL - enter a url (including https://) to link this menu item to
Is this a menu item visible? - enable this to show on the website.
Only visible when logged in? - enable this to show on the website to logged in users
To finalise everything, click the Add Sub Menu button
Editing a Sub Menu
To Edit a sub menu item, in the Admin Area navigate to CMS > Menus then click the Manage button next to the entry you'd like to change. Then click the Edit button next to the sub menu item you’d like to change.
“Get Involved”
A primary menu with the title “Get Involved” will show a preset menu which looks like the below image. The Events and More section will only show if you have any of the items (ticketed event, raffle, auction, etc) added, set to visible and within today’s date range.
